Yes I do.  2 of my friends were diagnosed with breast cancer and they called them back very soon after the mammogram x

I am fairly sure if anything was wrong, they would  let you know before that, so I wouldn't worry.

There is a 2 week rule within the nhs.  Ignore anything is found or suspected you see a specialist within 2 weeks.    After mammogram no news is good news x

Probably yes,  and don't worry if a letter comes quickly, it isn't always bad news.....mine wasn't.
Did you find a lump or was it routine?

For years Ive had a soreness at the side of my right breast , I could have it for maybe 2 to 3 weeks then maybe wouldnt have it for 2 months but I also get tender at the same time on the muscle that runs under the arm and on the breast part that gets sore  but it always worried me  , my nipple use to feel as if there was things crawling round it as well , Ive had all sorts of sensations on the nipple , I was alwaysvterrified to go for a mammogram incase they found something because ofvthese symptoms but I was making myself ill with worry  so bit the bullet and went , now Im more worried x

Ayley, those are the same symptoms that I have had for many years.   Good that you have gone to  have the mamagram, and  hopefully you will have a clear result , and then you can stop worrying.

Hello Ailey and ellie,

I'm interested to know what your mammogram results are showing because I have the same symptoms. Are you going to ask your gp about the results even if they don't show anything bad?

Conolly x

I have  very lumpy breast tissue and also  I get mastitis .   In the past I have been recalled, and been sent for a scan, the scan  showed cysts , that were drained and proved to be benign. I also get a slight creamy discharge from one nipple on occasions..   My breasts (one in particular) often gets very painful.   So I am glad to have my regular mammograms for peace of mind .

Usually immediately if there's anything suspicious it maybe different in the UK.  We have some wonderful healthworkers in the place I go to that go out of their way to make ladies feel comfortable and at ease. If something is a little off they tell you and contact your doctor who will tell you more.

Hi Sparkle, I would have thought they would have got you back quicker than a week when you got the recall , did you not feel as if it should have been quicker
