This is exactly how the menopause has made me feel - very anti-social - and 10 years on, I'm still feeling the same ... does any of this resonate with you ...

IT has for me too, but since introducing testosterone to my mix I'm getting out and about more. I don't think it ever was to do with oestrogen levels for me

Yes yes yes - first thing I've read that describes that feeling of 'I just can't be bothered to say anything', let alone go out socially. My social life has pretty much disappeared; it's been compounded by having breast cancer treatment last year, which comes with the double whammy of physical weakness, nausea, baldness etc from chemotherapy, and general loss of confidence. I got used to only going out if I really had to, and somehow since recovery I just haven't got any further.

I can identify with this...and the more I do this, the more I like it, so I many times force myself to be more sociable. But I really struggle with big groups and feel exhausted afterwards.
