Hi everyone!
I'm swapping from Oestrogel to Estrodot as fed up of been given Oestrodose instead of Estrogel. Plus it's too cold to be standing round waiting for it to dry ;D
Anybody using these patches, do you put them on your tummy or bottom??

I thought Estrogel and oestrodose were the same.
When I used Estradot I put them below the waist/bottom area.

I put Estradot top of thighs, or bum when abroad
I use oestrogel now and after being palmed off with oestrodose I spoke to pharmacist who said to specifically ask for the brand name, which I did and got the real mccoy

I had spoken to the pharmacist and it's still hit & miss if I get the Estrogel! I've just had surgery to remove my ovaries which the surgeon couldn't get too due to extensive Endometriosis so have to have another surgery with a bowel surgeon present. I really want my HRT spot on so thought I'd try patches. I've still got 1 Estrogel left if the patches go horribly wrong! ;D

Hi Ladies
I was recently changed from Elleste Solo 2mg after having a dip
and awful PMT to Estradot 50micrograms increased to 100. I was doing really well on the Elleste Solo (started end of July), had my libido back for the first time in 4 years! Was getting on better at Work and socially. Consultant changed me a she thought my liver was over processing and stopping the tab working. I'm now back on the rollercoaster of new HRT and anxiety is through the roof, my appetite is low and i'm Dropping weight at a rate of knots (8 stone 2). My hubby is getting really fed up with this constant changes and wants me to just stop everything. I'm so....tired of these changes. Will things ever get better. How do I know i'm Doing the right thing?? I'm 41 had peri-menopausal symptoms since 39. Was on combine pill for 4 months which really helped but was taken off due to migraine with aura. There talking about giving me an oestrogen implant if patches don't work. I just wonder if i'd Stayed on the Elleste Solo would things have settled down again. I'm so confused, my head is spinning with doubt and confusion.
