:-\periods are normally quite regular give a couple of days either side they are a lot lighter than normal this month I got my periods on the 5th very light still bleeding 18 days later as I say light need to wear a towel also pain in right side of back can any one help is this normal and is it start of perimenoupausal

How old are you Lovebug? Changes in periods are usually one of the first signs of peri menopause. Back pain isn't one of the signs though so I would get this checked out in case you have the beginnings of a kidney infection especially as you say in your last post that you are feeling very tired.

My periods waxed and waned from the mid-1990s and stopped 2002. I would go for months without a bleed then have a row of 3-4 months 'regular' again. Then eventually they disappeared :bounce:. I still get occasionally pre-bleed symptoms and think "Oh No! not after all these years!" but there is never a bleed.
