Title: Burning skin
Post by: mrsdmilkman on October 16, 2017, 04:53:12 PM
Has anyone ever had burning like sunburned skin from menopause? I'm 2 years post menopause. Been having high anxiety for about a year now. Then for about a week I've been having constant sunburned skin feeling in random areas of my body. It might be on my leg, arm, scalp, chest etc. but something is always burning. My breasts have been tender also.

HORMONES  >:(  ::)

I have itchy skin in various places occasionally.   Some toothpastes cause my gums to burn ........ what do you use on the skin?

So it is un-likely to be a sudden sensitivity to soap etc..  Does it keep you awake?

Maybe drop by a Pharmacist for advice?

I have this often and is worse if my estrogen goes high. It isn't like a flush and hard to describe but burning is what it feels like . I get it on my neck & shoulders the worse. X

Hi,

I often get a burning sensation like sun or windburn but mine tends to be to my face and scalp. I've associated them with vestibular migraines around ovulation or a bleed. I can't decide if it is when my oestrogen is high or low.

Hello ladies,
Same here. Hands, feet, scalp, back, shoulders. I don't have a clue. I'm postmenopause, no HRT. I have vascular issues and had one DVT episode.
