Post by: Hilary Olley on October 10, 2017, 04:45:03 PM
Hi guys has anyone had any experience with bioidentical hormone implants for anxiety during the menopause, I had mine put in 2 weeks ago just wondering how long they would take to work, has anyone out there experienced these? X :-\

Hi Hilary Olley

Sorry your post got missed - it dropped off the page as there were quite a few bumped threads yesterday!

Not sure what you mean by these - are you talking about estradiol implants? And also whether you use a progestogen too?

If you tell us a bit more then perhaps we can help -  and also hopefully others will see your post now and someone with experience of implants might respond although they haven't been mentioned recently.

Hurdity x

Hi I have a estrogen and testosterone implant because I wasn't absorbing the estrogel properly, has been in for 2 and half weeks but have been on gels for 12 weeks , some days I feel ok but others feel really poorly, anxiety, dizzy etc, I saw a while ago someone else was not sure if their implants were working but I didn't see her outcome x
