Title: Regular, heavy bleeding.
Post by: Kirstie B on September 29, 2017, 07:37:23 AM
Hi Ladies. I'm 37 and had my ovaries and tubes removed in march last year. I'm on HRT, Utrogestan 100 daily, Evorel 75 patches and Testogel, which I've been on for about a year and 3 months.
I wanted to ask about bleeding. I keep getting very heavy flow periods, once or twice a month. I was told I wouldn't have periods as I don't take tablet breaks, yet my periods are still coming (yet irregularly) and ate so heavy.
Can anyone offer any advise please?

Do you know if you have any fibroids, or anything like that that would make bleeding worse?

I would go back to your doctor, and keep a diary of dates and flow.

I'll go to my GP about the fibroids thank you. I do get abdominal pain too so I had an ultrasound but they didn't find anything. Would fibroids show up on an ultrasound do you think?
