Title: Hello I'm new to all this website stuff!
Post by: Jenni on September 20, 2017, 09:34:30 PM
Hello,
I couldn't work out how to do this yesterday, so by mistake I put a message on an old topic. Thanks to another very kind person helping me and telling me how to do it, I'm now on here.
The other topic was "Coming off HRT after having a TIA". If anyone can perhaps read it and offer any suggestions, I would appreciate any help I can get. In the past I have tried all the "over the counter" herbal remedies and also acupuncture but none of it did any good.
Thank you.

Sorry that you haven't had a reply!

I answered you on the other thread  ;) .......

Herbal remedies sometimes ease initial symptoms but when hormones begin to take over, any benefit may be lost.  What exactly where you trying to ease, maybe keep a mood/food/symptom diary to chart how you are feeling.

Hi and welcome
HRT is the only real help for meno symptoms - I found herbals a waste of money.
Read up all the info on this site and get back to us with questions. DG x

Hi sorry to hear that you had a TIA ,hope you are on recovery road now.
If you use the dropdown treatment tab at top of page you will find other treatments apart from HRT.  :)

Some ladies find that alternatives help initially, until their hormones begin to go haywire when any benefits may be lost.

Hi Jenni - as you know I answered on your other thread and do keep posting on that one if you have any updates because we would be interested in the outcome and what treatment you settle on and what works for you.

Hurdity x
