Title: Availability of Femoston Conti 1/5
Post by: English Rose on September 18, 2017, 04:21:16 PM
Hi
Has anyone had any difficulty recently obtaining Femoston Conti 1mg/5mg?

The rural practice I attend dispenses prescriptions, but said they could not get hold of any and gave me a paper prescription. Took that to Boots today but they didn't have it and have had to order it. Is this unusual?

Thank you.

I've had to have things ordered from boots as they don't hold everything, from my experience I'd say it is normal :) xxx

Thanks Lil
I was on Femoston a couple of years ago, and never had any issues getting it then. I finally picked it up today (9 days after it was prescribed). I noticed that the drug manufacturer has changed from Abbott to Mylan, don't know if that is just a coincidence.
All the best
