Very often numb toes / feet come from the back .....as the nerves from your back travel all the way down to your toes , depending which toes gives an idea as to which nerve from the back. 😊 I have similar issues caused by the sciatic nerve.

Could be linked or as MJ suggests, caused by a nerve - of course, meno-brain here can't remember which nerve route might cause the problem  ::).

How is your foot wear?  Stance?  Sitting position .........

It would be interesting to know which part of the back relates to the toe x

Hi Sammas,

Slightly off topic question but are you a smoker?  The exact same toe went numb for me when I was (in fact it was one of the main things that prompted me to give up) it went within a month and never had it again since.

May not be of an relevance to you but thought I would mention it in case.

Edit - Ah - not sure if it's politically correct to ask people if they're smokers anymore - but I will leave my experience here in case it helps anyone.  Feel free to ignore sammas

I had weird tingling in my fingers and toes once a few years ago. I am a complete hyperchondriac. I worried for a couple of weeks, worked myself up into a frenzy then went to see the doctor in tears thinking I'd got MS you name it. She said she thought there were many less serious things it could be, did basic bloods and my iron was chronically low. So maybe go & see the doc if not just to put your mind at rest. Most things tend to go away if you don't worry about them but it could also be something that is easy to fix (I had a weird finger cramp once and it was carpel tunnel symdrome or something which was made worse my too much time on the computer!

Any improvement today?  It could be as simple as laying 'funny', or wearing 'odd' shoes .......
