Title: Spots and Zits. Help
Post by: Lucy on August 23, 2017, 05:06:07 PM
Compared to my anxiety problems this is completely minor.  But after starting Evorel After a couple of days I have come up in small spots all round my neck and top of boobs. Actually about 100 of the little terrors.  I certainly am not wearing any low cut tops.  Has anyone else had this.  I am trying a witch hazel prep which seems to help a little.  Pretty sure it's not an allergic reaction just hormonal spots.  I didn't have too much of this as a teenager and now I have two teenagers it's me who has all the spots.  great!

HORMONES  >:(  ::)

I have odd types of spots underneath the skin on my face  - not on any HRT - and white ones in my nose.  Bothersome!

I never had acne as a teenager but paid the price I've suffered adult acne all over face, chest & back, since I was around 19/20. I've been on Isotretinoin twice, worked after second go but didn't last, then I had peels done at a skin clinic which worked & I stopped dairy. I had about 3 years of clearish skin even though I still had pigmentation. Now once I started Everol spots have been appearing again. I'm not going to lie I've had enough I hate my skin so much, I have no idea what it's like to have lovely clear skin!! :'(

LIl22 which ones caused spots?  I find the Utrogestan helps my skin. I had just over a week off the HRT and by the end of it I'd started to get spots

It was livial, estrodot and elleste solo.
No way am I having acne on top of everything else.

Those who suffer use oil free moisturiser and make up.
I've used nearly every face wash going so any advice just ask and if I can help I will xxx

Lil I've tried so many products I've lost track, i use oil free moisturiser, don't wear make up anymore, when I did it was because of my awful pigmentation just wanted to hide so used Bare Minerals. As for facial wash Liz Earle cleanse and polish is good & I also like Good Things from Boots, I chop & change as skin can get too used to products. So if you have any suggestions for me, I would love to hear them :)

I use Clinique dramatically different moistureser gel.
I've also used dermalogica active moist.
Washes I found Ren good the green one for combo skin.
Dermalogica clay cleanser,
Mario bedescu Badescu acne wash (from beauty bay)
Shiseido pureness
Burt's Bees Anti-Blemish Purifying Daily Cleanser

Make up super balanced foundation by Clinique
Used all of these with good results xxx

I get a build up of thick oil and dead skin.

I use soluble asprin as a face scrub/mask.  Rinse with plenty skin temp water, pat dry and moisturise well.

It seems to help and it is very, very cheap.

If you are taking hrt, it is best to take it at exactly the same time each day and not forget any ever  ::)  ;D Taking one a few hours or so late seems to result in consequences several days later. >:(

Thanks Lil I've wanted to try Dermalogica products after I had my skin peels but have always been put off my the price, especially after paying for the peels. Maybe now that outbreaks are happening again it would be worth it.
