First Day off the HRT.....head ache and cramps gone. Overall weirdness not as bad. Sun shining. New symptom. I am having a crying day. Started singing ' He 'aint heavy' /by Hollies in kitchen whilst cooking 6 full breakfasts (Hv a guest house)...made my eyes prick that first bit ' the road is long' etc ....boy isn't it long. Then my hubby put the Hollies version on speaker in the kitchen...by the 'I'm laden with sadness that everyones heart isn't filled with the gladness of love to one another'....och...I was a right flooding mess. Kids come in...Just frying onions...Anyone else fill up at weird times?

Me, too.
Completely random crying sessions, but if I read/see something sad I have to go to the loo (which, due to bladder issues, I am horribly familiar with - I can even tell you how many tiles per wall! Oh, wait! Maybe that's the OCD issue that popped up with meno :o).
You're not alone.

I cried at the end of the Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets the other night. It was so happy at the end when Hagrid comes back from Azkaban. And don't get me started on the last scene in the cake shop in 'Fantastic Beasts'...just the thought of it sets me off - I'm gone when he steps out into the rain. I'm on the look out for a good book at the moment that dosn't make me cry.

Oh that particular record has always made me cry as does their other one, the name of course I can't remember >:( and don't let me hear REM's Everybody Hurts - if I'm driving I have to pull over ::)
Who Do You Think U R will start me off and if I see a puppy ...........

Me too, I can cry at a drop of a hat at times, not great when you're out and about!
CKLD who do you think you are sets me off as well

It's not so much a strange place, but it is the reason for me suddenly wanting to start howling. It's an injured cat. I am pretty sensible when it comes to animals. It's me who has to hold whoever it is whose about to join the others at the Rainbow Bridge. My vet would attest to that. This one has totally thrown me and I'm not being me, I'm about to howl. Why.

Perhaps post more on the pets thread?

I'm so sensitive these days I don't even know who I am! It's always been kind of a joke that I have an icy heart of stone, and now I'm falling to tears over the beauty or sadness in everything. My son can see it coming and will say something sweet just to watch me crumble so he can giggle about it! It's all in good fun but what I would give to have my stone heart back!

Point well take CLKD, it was more the sudden and totally unexpected tears that took me by surprise

When I was at a wonderful Edinburgh Festival concert the other day, I felt I could cry - (the music moved me to tears, you know! ::)) - several times. Definitely never used to happen before.....!

Watched old version of Annie...now I belt ' The Sun will come out' to cold callers down the phone. Eyes well up at the ' grey and lovely bit'.

Lots of things make me weepy, and some days I still get overwhelmed with sadness at the loss of my Dad (he died over 5 years ago), but I try to not give in to tears as they hurt - my tears feel like they are burning my eyes! If I have a proper cry, the burning goes away eventually, but a 'little weep' is really painful and to be avoided if at all possible!
