My journey through menopause seems to go in stages, had a good wee while where I felt vaguely normal 8) but since the gaps in my cycle are now getting longer and longer (anywhere up to 4 months) I believe the flushes are starting! I can't say they're too bad as relatively bearable but has anyone else had the situation where they seem worse dependent on what you've eaten and also when you are/after eating? I know we produce heat when we eat so it might just be linking in with that as I think menopause causes a rise in core temp anyway but I find I have more around the time of eating and some random days have several in the morning but barely anything later in the day. Night time is regular though, wake and have to throw the duvet off. Just wondering if cutting back or excluding certain things from my diet may help but finding it hard to see a pattern of what it is that makes them more frequent sometimes. ???
