This is a continuing story... available on past posts of mine.
Three months ago I came off h.r.t. In that three months I have had 2 uti's, vaginal atrophy, my hair has been coming out and whiskers have grown in abundance on my chin. I can't sleep properly, keep tossing and turning like restless legs all over and waking up early.
I want to go back on the h.r.t but I want one that doesn't make me bleed. I'm 65 years old.
Can the kind people on here advise me as to which tablets to ask for when I go to the doctors next week.
I was taking Climesse before they withdrew it.
Thank you.

Hi! It ain't called 'the change' for nowt >:(
I found restless legs cured by eating 3/4 small bananas every day. I stuck with this for 5 years then went off them ::). Nurofen at night if my legs are nuisance also works.
Were the urine samples sent to a Lab. for testing? Vaginal atrophy mimics infection-type symptoms which you will know if you read the various VA threads on here.
I'm sure someone will be along.

Sorry to hear of your problems.
Unfortunately some GPs are not keen on giving a woman over 60 HRT at all but if you are lucky it is thought to be far safer to use either a patch or gel for oestrogen and a seperate progesterone such as Urtogestan. This would have to be taken constantly in order not to have a cycle.
If you look at the menus at the top if the page it will give you details of what's available.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

You should also start using some local oestrogen asap to prevent the VA from getting worse!
The different preparations are listed here:
