Doc increased my dose due to breakthrough flushes been on this  dose for 5 months and had extremely swollen and painful breasts and 2 random  periods after none for three years ! Is this normal v

I am 48 but started with bad flushing three years ago . Last natural period was probably before that ! 😑

Hi Kazzie

Did you not get any breakthrough bleeding all the time you were on the ultra-low dose Femoston but only got the bleed since changing the dose? Did you have a Mirena fitted in the past and still there perhaps, or taking the mini pill too?

Hurdity - yes occasionally had break through bleeding - but once in a Sheffield flood!

shortie - yes I had blood tests done at the times and my levels were incredibly low
