Just wondered how often those members who have used Vagifem for a few years do a full 14 day reload. I have just finished a reload after not doing one for over 18 months. It has certainly helped to settle things down again thank goodness. I asked the doctor if there is any recommended timings and she said just when needed but the fewer the better. I really feel the twice a day may not be enough for me now.
Thanks everyone.

I use Ovestin and do a 2-3 night continual as required. That is, after the initial every night use I dropped it successfully to every 3rd and 7th night unless I feel symptoms recurring - then I use an application for 2-3 nights then see how the bladder area is feeling, if necessary I then alternate for a week and review .......
If my bladder is irritated. I also use Nurofen which helps ease the feelings.
Vagifem can be used every night as it's a lower dose then the 25mg which it was initially delivered at.

Bit confused, do you mean twice a day or twice a week?

Just to add...I use Vagifem every day and do a reload as and when needed.
Never been able to manage on twice a week dose.

Good question Meadowblue- I'm currently on twice weekly vagifem but I have just started a 14 day reload to combat a few blips I'm currently experiencing .I keep a diary and it has been 9 months since my last reload

twice a week on the 10mg is really too little for most ladies. It is quite all right to use it 3, 4 even 5 times a week with no ill effects. I think it equates to the equivalent of one moderate strength HRT tablet a year!
I use vagifem every other night and an extra one for luck if it feel iffy. Done this for 6 years, couldn't have managed without, I was always getting thrush and cystitis symptoms but haven't had a single episode since been using Vagifem :)
