Title: Nausea
Post by: Helen Lilley on June 23, 2017, 02:10:03 PM
Hi ladies,

Can't remember if I've already asked this a while ago, and haven't searched back through my posts, but does a couple of days of nausea before starting a period happen to other peri ladies, or am I just odd?  It's like morning sickness some months.  Not pregnant, by the way, so is definitely not morning sickness 😀

Any tips welcome.

Nausea was one of many peri symptoms for me too.  Nightmare trying to function when you feel so sick

Yeah, had that quite often earlier in peri. Horrible feeling, never really found a way to stop it but others have mentioned ginger biscuits.

Thanks so much for the replies ladies.  At least I know it's not just me.

When it happens, I know I'm not actually going to be sick, but sometimes it's awful.  I feel so crappy and tired, and I still have to do all the usual stuff, including mum duties to kids aged 7, 11 & 14.

So far I've found that taking a couple of paracetamol helps a bit, but I'll try and remember some of the stuff I used to do to combat morning sickness.  Have some nausea wristbands, so might try those.
