Title: Wheezing?

Is anyone else in peri experiencing wheezing?

I don't have asthma but it's what I imagine it to feel like?

I developed asthma just before other meno symptoms crept in

Hello Starla76.

Not wishing to alarm you but I've read that adult onset asthma can come upon us at his time in our lives. I have one friend who developed this but she is being successfully treated so a visit to your GP may be worthwhile to be checked over.

Yes I do suffer from hay fever so I thought it's more likely that but have read some ladies get asthma symptoms - it does seem to worsen when I'm on my period as does the anxiety so hopefully it's not linked and is just hay fever!

I'll keep an eye on it though - thanks ladies  :)

I would get wheezy pre-menstrually, probably due to carrying extra 'water' - once the bleed began the feeling would go until the next month, in between I would forget about it.
