Title: Scuba diving
Post by: Clare11 on May 12, 2017, 07:29:21 PM
Hi, just wondered if any ladies out there dive? At the mo me and the hubby are on holiday diving in Barbados. Have to say though it is peeing it down with rain. But did see 3 turtles, 5 rays and a seahorse. But I was expecting blue sunny skies 😎😎, still it is hot.
But if any of you do dive have you found the menopause has affected your diving, thrown your confidence, had a bend, stopped you diving.
Cheers and hopefully sunny tomorrow.

Enjoy it !! and if you get the chance do ask the instructors.  It might be something that they are aware of or may pave the way for a Thesis for someone ;-).  I would love to watch sea-horses in the wild, however, it's octopuses that I can't abide  :sick02:

I did try it many many years ago. Did the training in the swimming pool and then went into the sea. I didn't realise that being underwater could and does make you seasick. Gave it up very quickly. Mind you I was diving in Scotland. Not the warmest water or the calmest in the world.

Enjoy your holiday. If the diving makes you nervous then just scuba dive....much easier.
