Hi, just wondered if anyone using this lower dose Provera on a continuous or non continuous basis?
Having thought I had the 'perfect' regime ie Everol combined patches on sequential basis with no bleed (yay!) I realise that my moods were getting lower and lower and it just doesn't suit me. So back to Provera. I used the 5mcg tablet for 8 consecutive days- before and after I took 2 tablets with a day inbetween to see if this would minimise the progesterone withdrawal which I think it did. I did get a bleed (grr) but I have to say it was minimal and quite tolerable.
As Dr Currie has suggested to me a continuous regime is preferred post meno, I thought about trying the low dose provera 2.5mcg on a continuous basis. Anyone else doing this? I'd be pleased to hear how you get on.
Thanks, sunnydays

Thanks Stella Jane. Yes, the 2.5 does appear to go with the low dose and can be used alongside a patch or gel etc like Utrogestan. I'm just keen to know if anyone has used it and how they've fared on it :)
