Title: Estrogel not available in NI help!!!!

hello girls


Looking for some sound advice. I started the estraderm patches in the interim whilst waiting for gynae follow up appt after having Mirena inserted 4 weeks ago - last two put in few days ago.


GP was happy to prescribe estrogel today until gynae sees me  in 2 weeks - only problem is she has checked with pharmacist and not available in NI? Prescribed sandrena instead - but pharmacist informed me that it's synthetic and not bio identical. Didn't realise it would get so complicates can anyone help advise please?  :( :-\

Thank you Stella Jane - I'm so confused and worried I'm taking something I shouldn't be. I'll start new thread and see if I get some answers thank you kindly
