Title: Tridestra
Post by: RGS on May 02, 2017, 08:05:04 PM
Hi, I started taking Tridestra 5 weeks ago because my hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings became too much to handle.

I've been doing fine so far and all my previous symptoms have disappeared  :) I'm getting a full nights sleep which is amazing! The only downside is I'm feeling tired all day and yesterday I suffered bouts of crashing fatigue  :( Not ideal when you're at work. I'm hoping this might just be my body getting used to the tablets though.

Is anyone else on Tridestra and how is it working for you?

I'm 47 and have been in peri menopause for about three years.

I'm taking the eostrogen at the moment.

I know it's early stages so should persevere, but I'm off on holiday next Saturday and I really don't want to be feeling like this  :'(

I had a period about three weeks after starting.

I'm wondering if they're too strong for me.

We decided on it because I didn't fancy going back to monthly bleeds. My periods were down to about one every six months. There was no other reason.

I think I might have to go down to 1mg to see how that suits me. Just didn't want to be changing before my holiday because I don't know if it'll upset things a bit.

Thanks for responding. It's given me something to think about at least  :)

Thought I'd post an update.

I started taking half a tablet and felt much better. I'm now on my next packet and all is going well so far :)
