Title: How much does a uterus scan cost?
Post by: Peacegirl on April 27, 2017, 09:08:14 PM
Can anyone say what it costs to have this done privately? And how often does it need to be done? Also is there any chance of getting this done on the NHS?
Ive been quoted 390 which is out of the question for me!

Thanks in advance

Thanks, What would be a 'reduced progesterone form of hrt'? I take it that me taking less utrogestan to stop feeling so rotten won't qualify me? 🙄
Also, do you mind me asking who you use for your scan? I searched for hours last night but couldn't find anything under £250. I'm in the uk south and prepared to travel up to 3 hours, possibly further (depending on travel costs!)

Hi Peacegirl - some ladies use Ultrasound Direct in Mothercare stores. I think it costs approx £100.

I got mine done at a private GP practice in Milton Keynes, I travelled about an hour to it.
