Do you get abdominal cramping after menopause? I have read that you don't, look forward to comments.

Yep.  I have been period free for over 15 years but occasionally I have cramps and think 'oh no, not again!' but there is no bleed. It's never painful enough to take medication for.

Well I went to the doctors he has given me antibiotics for a uti, I am not convinced I have one. I finish the course today. Had a bad day yesterday with back and pelvic pain and today feel very tender in the pelvic area almost a bit like pmt although I am post menopausal now. Feel scared that something else is going on. 😢😢

Your GP is remiss!  We are supposed not to have ABs unless there is a real need, the urine should have been sent to a Lab. - then the correct AB could be prescribed if necessary.  You may have vaginal atrophy, did the GP discuss?

Maybe see your Practice Nurse in the week?

I took a urine sample down and he has sent it off to the lab. He didn't do a dip test. No he didn't say anything about virginal atrophy at all. He said come back in 2 weeks.

Or Practice Nurse?  In the meantime, have you any pain relief to take?
