Just wanted to say hello and thank you to all members who have posted on MM in recent years.  Have been a follower for some time and learned so much from the wisdom and experience shared with such generous openness and kindness here.  This has been invaluable to me, both for reassurance & for the empowering knowledge gradually gained through reading posts and links.  You have enabled me to begin to slowly turn my life around after more than 12 years of horrible symptoms.  No time spent posting here is wasted - I'm sure there are countless women like me, who may be regular followers before joining and are so much better for the support you give, without knowing how many and just how much you are helping.  Am new to any forum & can't work out how to send you all virtual flowers - so for now, please imagine your most fabulous bouquet!

Welcome  :foryou: im new also and am slowly figuring out how to navigate a forum for the first time. So glad to hear how you have found strength and comfort through MM - honestly don't know what I'd do without the wealth of knowledge experience and support these ladies have to offer - and likewise am very very grateful - take care DaisyB x

Thank you ladies for the lovely welcome.  I feel I know some of you already from reading posts before joining, but look forward to getting to know you better and hopefully, once I know my way around, being able to give something back.

What a lovely introductory post and also a lovely name - another bird-lover? There is a Wild birds thread as I expect you know :)

Thank-you for your affirming words and so pleased that you have found the forum helpful. It makes posting so worthwhile to know that posts are read by the many followers, and not just the few who post on a particular thread!

To post flowers and hugs etc - you just click on "more" underneath the line of smileys, and they all magically appear - even weird ones like this that I can't imagine what they are used for! :bday3:
