Title: Sandal advice
Post by: cubagirl on April 20, 2017, 11:58:29 AM
Do any of you ladies have Pavers sandals? I've seen a pair I rather fancy for the summer, well I'm hoping we get one. I have wasted so much money on shoes/sandals over the years. My feet seem to be getting fussier as I get older.  ;D Want something I can wear on a daily basis, casual & comfortable. Checked some other companies but theirs are a bit fuddy duddy for my liking.  Think I've worn out all my comfy ones.

I bought Pavers boots (like snow boots) about 6 years ago and love them for icy weather and camping.  Still as good as new and really comfy

No, I don't but just wanted to say I recommend anything by Fly as they are so comfy it is unbelievable. I walk a lot and have had no problems with them at all - I like a wedge shoe though.

I know this wasn't what you asked though! Think I had Pavers boots once and they were pretty good.

I've got into Hotters in recent years - not heard of 'pavers'

Nearly50, tried Fly today. Liked their look & chunkiness, but quite heavy, well I thought so. So tried lots of others. Really liked some Rieker ones which I may still buy. However, bought some trek style ones in Clarks. I could hear hubby in my head saying "sensible shoes for walking." One pair I tried were £90. Hubby would have had a fit if I'd bought them!  ::) I've got a dressy pair for dresses already.

Aaah- sensible shoes and comfort slacks. Welcome to the Menopause.
Pavers are good, clarks are brilliant but depends on the style. Aerosoles are great. You can buy shoes that feel comfy in the shop but rub when you wear them- recommend sore spot plasters. Little gel filled spots that you put on the shoe where it rubs. Can get them from scholl or Superdrug which are cheaper.Brilliant. Nothing worse than sore feet.
Don't get my started on state of my toes...x

Haven't worn pavers but have had Reiker and last year got Hotter.  They are the most comfortable I've ever had and quite fashionable too.

I had Hotter for son's wedding. Still not sure I bought right style, though my daughter thought they were quite funky.

Joseph Sebel.

Very comfortable.  I usually check out the sales section of their website.

Got a pair of JS mules breeze, so comfortable. I bought in sales section too. Never pay full price for clothes/shoes unless it's necessary.

Comfort first & foremost, if it happens to be fashionable then all the better.  :)

Hotter are the only footwear that go on my feet.  They suit my peculiar shape feet and the insole comes out to fit orthotics in properly  :)

I certainly won't buy shoes unless they're comfortable, but they have to be flattering, too, even if they're not the latest.  :)
