Hi
I switched from using femseven sequi 50 mg which I had been using for over six months due to incresed anxiety and other side effects especially on the two weeks of progesterone patch. I posted on this forum and thanks to the advice and all the helpful info, I saw my GP and asked her if I could try Utogestan plus oestrogen gel regime, she prescribed Sandrena Gel 1mg once a day and 200g Utrogestan 200mg day 15-26. She wasnt that familar with this type of HRT.
I have been taking Sandrena Gel for a week now, and this morning had proper vertigo when I tried to get out of bed and again when I did my morning gentle stretch, and had to hang onto table. Dizziness was more feature before femseven sequi. Could this vertigo be a side effect of changing Oestrogen? types, or is the 1mg dose to low... or am i absorbing better. Or maybe its a co-incidence but doesnt feel that way.
I also have ME/CFS so can have dizziness but not like this. any suggestions? I have wondered if i am on the correct dose of Sandrena Gel one sachet 1mg gel a day. I must say I am sleeping much better this week.
I am 49 and started HRT last spring, I was still having periods, heavy and irregular.
Any advice is most welcome :) thankyou :)

Hi it could be maybe keep an eye on it and see how you get on.
I also have ME and trouble finding a HRT.
Great if the gel will work for you, a lot of side effects get better over time I think
It's the first few weeks is really rocky xxx

Thanks for your reply :)
I sticking with this regime for a while, and am hoping the vertigo will pass, if not I will see GP :) I am sorry to hear you also have ME/CFS, I didnt consider that was affectng the HRT that much, but have always been sensitive to medications. Thanks for your cooment and I hope you find a regime that works for you as well :)
