Me again,
Feel like a pain but not sure where to go ?
If I'm going through a early menopause can I take HRT for post or permi or both?
I'm on the Femseven patch (yet again) and it's just not staying on.
My next thought was to try femoston 2/10
But looked at this and it says on list for post meno.
I am not actually sure I've tried this as in my notes of what I've tried it says femoston conti for perimenopause which I have wrote gave me headaches.
So my question can I ask for femoston 2/10?
Thank you x

Sequential HRT ( progesterone used for only 2 weeks out of 4) is for peri meno and also into post meno if you don't mind having regular withdrawal bleeds.
Continuous HRT ( progesterone used all the time with oestrogen) is for post meno if you have gone at least one year without a natural period and this eventually results in no bleeding.
Finding the right HRT type for you is the challenge.
Femoston 2/10 is a sequential HRT for peri or post meno. It has one if the kinder progesterones so tends to be tolerated well by many women.
There are many HRT options and headaches are common in meno whether on HRT or not.
Have good read through the TREATMENTS section at the top of this page to really get clued up. DG x

Hi Dancing girl,
Thank you so much for explaining, I have got pages and pages of notes of here
And all the HRT and side effects with me.
You would think after 18 years I'd be clued up but just still don't understand it all.
My ME has a lot to do with it as I'll read and won't register. (Constant brain fog)
Thank you though will keep exploring xxx
