Title: Femseven 50 what's what?
Post by: Butterfly22 on April 07, 2017, 07:39:23 AM
Hey ladies,
I've just started the Femseven 50 yesterday but few things I need to find out.
On the box it says change once a week but on the boots label says every 3/4 days.
Also what is Femseven conti?
Also I've not had a hysterectomy am I suppose to be having progestrogen with this
Patch as the doctor never mentioned this?
Thank you
Lila xxx

Hi if you look under the treatments tab at top of page you can find it in the list of hrt ,it tells you what it contains . As far as I know femseven Conti contains both oestrogen and progesterone and you change it weekly ☺

Hi  :)

Femseven is a weekly change patch - I think the conti means it's a combined Oestrogen/progesterone.

I used Femseven for quite a while but changed it every 5 days as the edges tended to lift up.

Thank you ladies I wonder why boots put on the label every 3-4 days.
I've read the leaflet yesterday and sure it said you need to take progestrogen to but I can't find it this morning.
I started a early menopause and still don't understand it all, feel silly keep asking questions but just can't get my head round it all. Xx

Look on the leaflet on there it will tell you what the medication contains.
If is seqi it will only contain oestrogen,if it's conti it will contain both.

It's says oestrogen and estradol hemihydrate so guessing the doctor should have given me a progestrogen to? X
