Sorry if this has been covered before, couldn't find anything :(
I did my prescribed one a day of Vagifem for 2 weeks and then 2 the last week. Perhaps things are still 'adjusting' but I get quite a lot of whitish (sometimes yellowish) discharge ever since starting, even this past week where I only did 2 per week. I'm not too happy about this, I don't think there is an infection of any kind, but after years and years of no discharge at all, now I'm having to use pantyliners again. I guess this isn't the worst thing in the world if it's doing me good, but did want to check in on any one elses experience.

SandJ I didn't experience this , have been using Vagifem for almost a year now, but definitely feel slight more " moist" sorry if TMI ! since using it. Hopefully some of the others who are more knowledgeable will be along soon.

What goes up ::) which is why I use my Ovestin at night.

SandJ - healthy discharge is normal - shows the Vagifem is doing its job! Means it's nice and moist down there.... I wear a daily micro thin panty-liner. I worry more if I have nothing - shows I'm getting a bit dry. ::)

I am of the opinion that once the active ingredient in Vagifem has been absorbed then the 'carrier' part of the tablet gets expelled along with any normal secretions and this is the 'white bits' I see. They don't bother me, dryness and soreness used to bother me a lot more :)
