Wondered if anyone has considered using HGH or have any experience of using it during perimenopause????

HGH :-\. Sorry never heard of it....

It's Human Growth Hormone Hurdity. What symptoms would you hope to alleviate Keeleyruth?

Why would one? Surely this is what men in the gym use and can be dangerous :-\

I have seen information on the internet providing arguments both for and against its use. I understand it is prescribed in the US for women and can alleviate menopausal symptoms.
There are various supplements you can take that stimulate the natural release of HGH in your body... there are many options and it seems that some menopausal women are taking this route? Just wondered if anyone has or is this a taboo subject??

If I were interested I would go along to a Pharmacist for advice. Most have Private Rooms now for discussion. Not everything on the internet is 'good' advice! and some can be really dangerous. I don't even know whether HGH is legal in the UK? You could have a look-see in one of the body building magazines to see if there is advice there too ..... but I would favour a Pharmacist who is qualified ;-).

Aslo, can you see I'm thinking aloud ;D which symptoms do you particularly want to ease?

It's not a taboo subject but I've had a search of the forum and it doesn't seem to have been discussed before apart from on this thread where someone was using something called L Lysine which is a precursor of HGH I think https://www.menopausematters.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,21133.msg313653.html#msg313653
