Title: Femoston irregular bleeds
Post by: Bellababe on February 25, 2017, 10:31:03 PM
Hi I've been on Femoston for 4months as peri and doing ok which is good, apart from last few months my bleeds have been irregular, so much so that this current bleed is in the middle of the pack!?!? Is this ok? I know my own hormones can still kick in and cause bleeds overriding what should happen on Femoston. Dr seemed concerned and wants to monitor it but foolishly I didn't ask what the problem was. Would hope not to change hrt as it is helping with lots of other symptoms. Thank you!

As you say Bellababe your hormones will kick in from time to time if you are peri-menopausal and especially on lower does of HRT ( are you on 1/10 or 2/10). Maybe you can reset your cycle. How does the doctor plan to monitor it - just noting where your bleed occurs?

If it's helping with your symptoms that's great - long may it last :)

Hi thanks for comments. Yes it is sequential and 1:10. Im not sure how dr plans to monitor but is calling me for phone consultation to see how this month has been compared to last when I saw Dr. Thing is this month bleed is even earlier so worried she will want to change from Femoston. She mentioned the higher dose of Femiston is no longer available - anyone know if this is the case? Thank you!
