That post menopause, our ovaries shrink to just 0.5cm in diameter? Prior to menopause, they are approximately 4cm.
Just a little interesting fact for you, for what it's worth.... ;)

I didn't know the actual size but I knew they atrophied! They can never find mine when I have scans because they are so small and then hide behind other organs. I think they still produce a miniscule amount of hormones though - at least initially - not sure about long term ( eg us oldies in our 60's!). They've done their job it seems!

NO wonder my right one was " engulfed " by the tumour then - it was 15cm !!
