Title: Dandruff/dry skin on head
Post by: sparklyweirdo on February 16, 2017, 03:27:19 PM
I am not sure if this is in the right section but I guess so?

I have noticed that i have dry skin bits all over my head and it is sometimes itchy but not that often, I have dandruff now probably from the dry skin obviously but I am stumped to what to use on my head as I have dandruff/grey hair that I need to keep moisture in as i find that if i dont use moisturising shampoo/conditioner, it get  straw like and difficult to brush through.
Most dandruff shampoos are drying.

I am guessing this is another part of menopause?

Thanks

There was a medical discussion about something similar on This Morning today.  Maybe see if you can find out on Catch Up. I can't remember what the chap was told to use.

I use Nizorel for seborhheic dermatitis from Amazon

Over the year of using it I have learned:

Leave it on for 5 mins approx
Just before rinsing off smear a small amount of conditioner on

It can dry hair hence why I do use small amount of conditioner but really helps with itching and dandruff
