Title: Elleste duet & vagifem
Post by: Jube on February 15, 2017, 07:43:07 AM
I take elleste duet 1 mg. I feel quite good generally but sometimes feel but sore/uncomfortable 'down below'. I have some vagifem that was prescribed over a year ago but didn't use as didn't need it after going on hrt. Is it ok to use both or should I speak to doctor ?

Absolutely - it is recognised that some women need both. I am one of them. When I first started HRT I stopped the local oestrogen but later needed it again and have been on it/both ever since.

Yes you can.

I started with systemic then needed vagifem and just yesterday was given Ovestin as well so now I have the full hit. Oh the joys of menopause I obviously didn't read the menopause letter correctly and forgot to put a tick in the opt out box !!!!!!!!
