I've heard about spotting/bleeding in the early days on Tibolone but not sure if anyone has continued to bleed after that, I'm thinking not because it's in my head specifically about early days only

Hi Sonka
Had exact same issues as you! I'm less than 3 weeks post hysterectomy due to Adenomyosis!
To be fair, I tried oestrogel, estradot and Mirena, evorel sequi and Femoston, and suffered heavy erratic bleeding on all.
Never tried Tiblone though.

Hi sonka

Here is the product information about Tibolone and what it says about bleeding:

Clinical efficacy and safety

• Effects on the endometrium and bleeding patterns
- There have been reports of endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial cancer in patients treated with Livial (see section 4.4 and 4.8 ).
- Amenorrhea has been reported in 88% of women using Livial 2.5 mg after 12 months of treatment. Breakthrough bleeding and/or spotting has been reported in 32.6% of women during the first 3 months of treatment, and in 11.6% of women after 11-12 months of use.

Hi Sphere27

Did you have any problems in the first few weeks with Tibolone?

Week 1-4 horrendous

Week 4 -8 better but more bad days than good

Just started week 9 yesterday - hoping to feel better soon
