Title: weaning off estradot patch

hi. on hrt patch 75mg for nearly 3 years following a surgical hysterectomy because of endometriosis. any suggestions as to best way to wean myself off. I am 53yrs old. >:(

I am the same age as you and I just wondered why you wanted to discontinue with your patch?
They are available in different doses, I wonder if you would be able to reduce the dose gradually that way :-\

If considering weaning off, try lowering patch size over a period of time. You can get 50mg, 37.5mg & 25mg. Maybe lower to 50 for a while to see how it goes.

strong history of maternal breast cancer, health reasons. tried reducing matrix patch but each time ended back on the same dose of 75mg. thanks for replying.
