I had the pelvic and transvaginal scan on monday. The radiographer talked me through it..wimb was fine no thickening, couldnt really see my ovaries, only thing she did see were a couple of fibroids. But nothing sinister.Good news and very relieved ! Havent heard from the doctor yet. Only issue is i am still spotting with some days with period pains. Came off the patches nearly three weeks. So not sure what is causing that?

Hello CoastalGirl.
Pleased to hear your good news. I know our ovaries atrophy at this time in our lives and 50 per cent of us have fibroids so it all sounds pretty normal.
Take care and keep us updated.

Sounds good CoastalGirl - I think we discussed this is in your previous threads about the bleeding? Hopefully you can go back onto the HRT and the bleeding will stop soon. The radiographers couldn't see my ovaries on my last scan either - I think this is common with women in post-menopause - they shrivel up and atrophy and disappear from view (hide behind other organs!).
