It's happened the last 2 times now and am beginning to get a bit concerned :-\
I came off my gels a couple of weeks ago and have been losing a small amount of brownish liquid but it's hardly anything now, after :bed:it's bright red ??? No pains or anything and i haven't had anymore today just immediately afterwards. Like I said it's happened each time for the last 2 times.
Hubby seems to think it's because I haven't taken any prog for a while and "things" are unbalanced? Im not so sure as this has never happened before?

Hi Chi chi
Like you say - if you have stopped HRT then it could be oestrogen withdrawal bleeding - but any abnormal bleeding especially bleeding after sex should be investigated. If your lining has thickened then it can come away sporadically. Do get it checked out at least to rule out anything problematic and if it is, then to get appropriate treatment.
I had bleeding after sex 3 years ago and mine turned out to be probably due to a cervical ectropion - but if yours is bright red then your husband's explanation (amazing that he knows about this!!) sounds likely.
Try not to worry!

Thank you Hurdity,
I wonder why now? And if it is my lining then why am I not losing red blood instead of this brownish liquid?
It happened before I stopped the HRT too?
I'm probably just panicking but I'm one of those people who have to understand things 🙄🤔😊

Hi again - sorry I thought you said red blood - "after bed it's bright red". Sounds like something minor but still should be investigated. You can never say why now! Things happen at any time. If something has developed - either in your cervix, vagina or uterus, then the trauma (!) of sex, could lead to spotting. I don't think we can help here as it is your body that needs checking - to re-iterate - all bleeding or spotting after sex should be looked at so please go and speak to the doc to put your mind at rest!
Try not to worry and let us know the outcome!

I agree with Hurdity - it is really important that you get this checked out quickly.
