Title: Forgot to take my tablet!
Post by: Mojo61 on January 11, 2017, 12:37:39 PM
I always take my kliovance tablet along with my citalopram and blood pressure pill around 8am in the morning just before I go to work, but I'm off today with that pesky virus going around and I completely forgot to take them. Will it make a difference that I've taken them 4 hours late? Sorry if that sounds stupid but my anxiety has kicked in now and is telling me I'm doomed - lol

What did you decide?  You should be OK, have you read the advice on the packet?

Hope that you feel better soon.

The packet just says if you forget a dose just take it when you remember but don't double the dose if you forget it for a whole day, just take your regular dose

Will it have an affect on my hormone levels if I missed it for 4 hours?

Let us know - probably won't make any difference at all but I'm not on oral HRT .....

Hi Mojo61 - It is doubtful it will make any difference. The synthetic progestogens last a lot longer in the system than progesterone itself and even this you don't have to be exact with. I really wouldn't worry after such a short time - but if you get a bit of spotting - you'll know why!
