states that
After age 40, the median time from occurrence of these bleeding markers of late transition to FMP was on average 1.5-2.3 years for at least 90-days of amenorrhea and 2.6-3.3 years for the other three bleeding markers
and I wondered if this tied in with the experience of anyone here.
I'm on 78 days and counting and I know anything could happen, but have a vague feeling of control if I look at stats and reports, and work out how long I may have to go.

This was interesting. I like how they compiled the info from different studies in one place.

At 46 mine had always been regular every 26 days then lasting 3 or 4 days ,but i did skip a period in november so that was 60 days with no period , so now i'm just waiting to see what happens in january xx
