Title: Test result Conversion
Post by: Chi chi on December 22, 2016, 07:31:44 PM
I'm trying to convert some test results and wondered if anyone could help? It's for my folate. I'm trying to convert 239 nmol/L to microg/L.
My latest results have come back as nmol/L but my last was microg/L.

Thanks  :)

The path lab report of your results should show the reference range for the test and your result??
Sorry can't help with any conversion though!

Hi yeah the range is 285.4 - 1474.7 so it's flagged as low at 239 but then underneath it says <150nmol/L is associated with folate deficiency?? I don't really understand 😕
The reason I wanted to convert was to compare this result with my previous ones

http://www.vin.com/calculators/ChemConvCalc.htm

you can choose which blood test you want to convert by drop down menu.

239nmol/L will be 105.47 ng/mL

does that sound right I cant find microg/L

Thanks crazydaisy although I've no idea? Wish they'd just stick to the same measurements each time 🙄
