My doc told me to come off my hrt which I have been on for 6yrs as I have inverted nipple in right breast and swelling m tender above nipple n chestwall is it normal to come off hrt before going for mammogram 5/12/16 n bc on 7/12/16 I am so scared and now having been off hrt I am not doing so good with that also sorry for rumbling on

Inverted nipple and tenderness can be due to mammary duct ectasia which is more common as you get older.

Please don't be scared, I think your doc is doing the right thing though. The reason your nipple has become inverted needs to be investigated and if the mammogram is clear there's every chance you can resume it I'm sure
Always better to be safe than sorry
Wishing you good luck x

It is difficult to be positive when you have symptoms …….
