I agree Burchers: DG always responds so swiftly and exhibits real kindness and empathy, in addition to having a wealth of knowledge and experience she's happy to share. It's a shame there's not a 'like' button on this forum.

Thank you so much ladies - that means a great deal to me.  There are many who post on this site who are brilliant and helped me through when I first started posting and continue to give me support when I need it.  This site should be compulsory reading for every women before and during the menopause.
  :thankyou:

Another shout out for DG

On another post I mentioned that I was dairy-free vegetarian and DG reminded me to check calcium, magnesium and vit d levels. I had been confident that I was getting the correct nutrient balance because I'd previously done a load of research into it. However, I checked again and realised that I'd lapsed with some of the foods I was eating - my daily dose of chia seeds for example. Cut a long story short - I've revamped my diet and really been concentrating on the meditation, self-hypnosis, yoga stuff and guess what - a lot of symptoms have abated, especially the stomach gurgling we'd been discussing.

Thanks DG and everyone else who gave advice.  :thankyou:
