Title: Possible side effect of Premique low dose 1.5mg

Please could you advise.  I started on Premique 3 weeks ago now and the last week my right arm has been giving me issues with regards to it feeling really hot, heavy and today I am unable to even lift my handbag with that arm.  I am unable to sleep on my arm and the heavy aching is quite sever today.  Do you think this is related to my HRT.  I cannot put it down to anything else that has changed.

That is one of the old-fashioned HRT types and definitely is associated with more side effects in some women. The body does take a while to settle after starting HRT and it is usually advised to give each type 3 months before deciding whether to change or not -  but if you are worried about this ( it does sound rather odd) then I would have a word with your doc.

Do tell us a bit more about yourself and where you are in menopause, how old you are etc?
