Hi all stopped vagifem yesterday after 9 days loading dose and my red raw vagina is much improved which is amazing. Im off on holidays tommorow and couldn't face that burning, really think ive had a reaction to it. please can tell me what these fillers are people talk about that can cause allergies
-
Are you allergic to latex? It can be the fillers or the coating on medications.
You could try Ovestin1mg instead. Take Vaseline with you and keep the vagina as soft as possible and ask your GP for something else on your return.

CKLD what are fillers read so much but not sure what they are

I don't know as Companies may well use different types of products. Have a word with a Pharmacist in your area, they usually have private rooms for discussion. Then maybe let us know ::)
Enjoy your time away - anywhere exciting?

Im going to Rhodes in Greece hoping the sea walter will help lol. No nookey for me now though too sore which is a shame lol.

Make a list B4 you leave - symptoms etc..
Enjoy your holiday! Take plenty of Lube to keep the areas moist.

Hypromellose, Lactose Monohydrate, Maize Starch, Magnesium Stearate. Those are the fillers.
They are pretty 'benign' in oral preparations, but not sure how the delicate tissues of the vagina likes them, especially if the area was irritated to begin with!
I'm so glad it's eased off now for you - do keep the area well lubricated with something gentle. No KY!!! Mineral oil is awful for the delicate vaginal tissues. YES products are natural but be aware that natural ingredients also have the potential to irritate some folk.
Enjoy your holiday!
Hugs. xxxx
