Title: Feeling swollen.....
Post by: Tinkerbellj on September 20, 2016, 10:35:07 AM
Not quite sure how to word this one but since I have been on 4 pumps of oestrogen since beginning of july I can feel like a lump eh down there↓ sort of like a fallen tampon if that makes sense? Had a feel and just at the opening I can feel like plump swollen flesh. Is this just a result of oestrogen? Dont know if its a prolapse cuz cervix seems fine. Bit confused. .  Help ahhhhh

Hi Tinkerbellj  - before my VA started I don't think I had ever looked at myself down there , so when I did everything seemed a complete mystery.  luckily I had a great Gyno who sat me down  ( literally) in front of a mirror and explained all the bits and bobs , I had what I felt was a large lump and it turned out to be my hymen ! So I think since starting  HRT a lot of things start to pump up
Maybe that's what has occurred in your case ?
(When my VA first started my doctor thought it might have been a prolapse )

I hope this is of some help
❤️❤️❤️Ss X

Hi there.
Could be a prolapse, any changes in bladder function. Could be worth checking with a nurse practitioner at surgery x
