Has anyone struggled with the side effects of qlaira and tried Zoely? Please any info is much appreciated ☺

I think this pill is prescribed less often than Qlaira - at least amongst peri-menopausal women judging by what is written on here. Can you go to the home page of the forum and do a search? I know I have mentioned it in the past but I can't remember whether anyone who posts here has tried it.
The thing is about Zoely is that the estradiol dose is much lower (even though it is bio-identical as Qlairai is and in that respect more similar to HRT) and the progesterone dose higher so I suppose it is more like the mini pill in that it relies on the progestogen to give the contraception I presume? There are 4 medication free days (placebo pills) in contrast to Qlaira with two.
Sorry I'm not familiar enough with contraceptive pills and how they work to understand the effect of having a low dose of oestrogen together with suppressing your cycle but there is information on this product here:

Hi, I tried Zoely before any HRT. I had to stop using it after 10 days as it made me really depressed, couldn't stop crying. My menopause specialist felt the progesterone element was the cause....didn't suit me. Also I don't think I do well on continuous progesterone. Never tried qlaira so can't compare I'm afraid.
Might be worth trying thou....if only to discount xx
