I've decided it's time to go. I'm thankful to all who have helped me over last few years. The forum has been good to me, but it's not what it used to be. I'm not much help to many of the newer members, so feel it's time to bow out. :)

I have been away for a few days - but not sure who Joyce is/was? I presume she had a different forum name than the one she registered with and we all knew her as I don't remember any posts by Joyce, and she wouldn't have started a thread if she hadn't been on here for a while :-\ . I would say good bye if I knew who it was - can someone tell me?! Maybe my memory has gone haywire (not unusual...).
The forum is much bigger now even than when I first joined 6 years ago - and is testament to the success of Heather Currie's work to reach out to menopausal women everywhere. I think it's brilliant that it is now so well known - but of course it's difficult to keep up with posts and members especially when you go away as I do!
It's still great to be able to make friends with like-minded souls though despite the size and I have several on here whom I've got to know over the years and exchange messages and even phone calls with some.
Personally I still feel I need support from time to time - or at least to share experiences about menopause and different HRT, and of course to try to help others if I can as most of us on here do :). However for others it's time to move on.
Whoever you were I wish you well!

Sorry your leaving Cubagirl....... you gave me some really good advice along with Hurdity, Taz, CLKD, and many more. I dread to think where I would be without you lovely ladies.

Well I didn't know that - presume you must have known her on the forum way back babyjane and knew her by her "old" name - certainly before my time?? :-\
Anyway now I know who you are cubagirl/Joyce - I don't expect you are looking as you will be doing other things but in case you pop in - bye bye cubagirl from me and hope you enjoy the rest of your life :). We've had several conversations and the odd chat on threads over the years and I did see you as one of the old hands ( well not so old ;D ).
