sorry, can't help. If you are having periods even if there are large gaps between, then you are probably in peri..  Post menopausal is usually after not seeing a bleed for 2+ years  :-\

Did your GP discuss HRT?

Your FSH level of 6 is indicative that you are still very fertile. What day of your cycle did you have your bloods taken?

I'm NOT a medical doctor but from my personal knowledge for my own hormonal problems in the past that seems a very low level of oestrogen (estradial), for someone your age regardless of the point of your menstrual cycle when the bloods were done.    Your FSH and LH levels seem to be within a normal range according to NHS guidelines but I do personally think it's about individual symptoms and not "guidelines" from blood tests.

Did he check you for your testosterone levels too (low levels can account for very low libido and low mood, etc. ?  Ditto a T4 test for hypothyroidism  which again I have and can cause low mood, insomnia, etc.

Maybe go back to your GP but before doing that, having a look around at previous posts as to reliable and safe treatment options for HRT women have found helpful? Like Oestrogel for example?
HRT tablets often seem to be prescribed by GPs for some reason (maybe cost or ignorance, I don't know) but transdermal HRT  (i.e. gels and patches) are consistently clinically proven to be safer and more effective than tablets and don't cost much more.

I'd suggest reading lots more on the forum and other sites so you can be fully informed when you go back to see your GP.

Look at the Utrogestan and Oestrogel thread which is the treatment I'm prescribed via the NHS (plus a tiny bit of the testosterone gel) which I found positively life changing  although I'm not allowed to mention on here whom I saw privately to get the treatment.
My GP is rubbish and refused to give me better and updated HRT as I was "too old" to change HRT at 55 years. It (my treatment regime) is available on the NHS though, if you have a decent and  clinically up to date GP/Menopause Clinic "expert", although personal experiences seem to vary on here.
Get a copy of your blood results.
Knowledge is power! And don't be fobbed off with anti-depressants either! Seems like your problems are most likely due to hormonal imbalances, so AD's won't work at all if that's the case. Just most likely make you feel worse, if they work at all.

Good luck and let us all know how you get on? xx
